[The significance of angiographic control in the course of cerebral artery injuries (author's transl)].

R von Kummer, R Reuther.

Abstract

Three cases of post-traumatic thrombosis of the distal extracranial internal carotid artery and vertebral artery are reported. Control angiograms showed considerable recession of changes caused by injury. Discussed is the significance of these findings for differentiation between post-traumatic artery changes and fibromuscular dysplasia.
