[The isolation of microfilariae of Litomosoides carinii on a Ficoll density gradient (author's transl)].

Abstract

A method is described to isolate microfilariae of Litomosoides carinii on a Ficoll isopycnic gradient. The simple and fast procedure yields a high percentage of microfilariae apparently without causing any alteration of the larval surface and vitality.
