Abstract
The subchondral plate of bone underlying concave joint surfaces is significantly thicker, at most sites, than that under the corresponding convex mates. This morphologic difference may be related to parallel differences in loading stress and in the distribution of osteonecrosis and other joint lesions.Entities:
