Scanning electron microscopy of trabeculectomy specimens from eyes with open-angle glaucoma.

H A Quigley, E M Addicks.

Abstract

We examined 13 trabeculectomy specimens from ten patients with open-angle glaucoma by scanning electron microscopy. The pores of the inner travecular meshwork were not obstructed by extracellular material in all specimens, a finding contrary to a recently published report.
