Abstract
The leucocyte alkaline phosphatase (LAP) score was estimated in healthy and infected neonates. A leucocyte band count was also done simultaneously. The infected group showed a significant (P < 0.001) decrease in the LAP score and a significant (P < 0.001) increase in the band count. These findings are discussed.Entities:
