Abstract
Propane-1,2-diol in concentrations of 30-90 g/l was found to inhibit in vitro the growth of Pityrosporum orbiculare, Candida albicans, Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes var. interdigitale, and Epidermophyton floccosum. These results are discussed in relation to the management of fungal skin diseases.Entities:
