Abstract
Acute fatty liver of pregnancy presents near term as fulminant hepatic failure, often associated with mild preeclampsia and profound coagulopathy. To protect the life of mother and baby this syndrome must be rapidly diagnosed and differentiated from other conditions that may occur in pregnancy.Entities:
