Abstract
A young woman presented with congestive cardiomyopathy of unknown aetiology. She subsequently revealed a history of longstanding abuse of ephedrine-containing preparations. The case is reported to alert clinicians to a hazard of dependence on proprietary pharmaceuticals.Entities:
