Simultaneous dislocation of the interphalangeal joints in a finger--Case report.

R H Espinosa, I P Renart.

Abstract

While the dislocation of a proximal or distal interphalangeal joint of a finger is commonplace, simultaneous dislocation of both joints is a rare event. Since the first double dislocation was first described in 1874, only 10 cases have been reported.
