Abstract
This case report describes the finding of a rare supernumerary extensor tendon supplying both the index finger and thumb; previous descriptions have been reported only in cadaver dissections. Such anatomic variations are important to maintain proper surgical orientation. These extra tendons may also prove to be of value in tendon transfer procedures.Mesh:
