Entrapped foreign body within the acetabular cup in total hip replacement.

Abstract

In 3 cases in which foreign bodies became entrapped within the acetabular component after total hip replacement, the management included removal by closed manipulation in one case, arthroscopy in the second case, and open operative procedure in the third.
