Abstract
A color-naming task was used to assess color vision in the fovea and parafovea. Like traditional psychophysical procedures, color naming showed that short-wavelength vision is suppressed centrally. The anatomical and physiological mechanisms underlying tritan foveal vision are discussed.Entities:
