Abstract
Our experience with 15 microvascular free-flap transfers is documented and discussed. We feel that the procedure is an effective means of reconstruction for complex and extensive defects. Rapid advances have been made in all areas of cancer surgery. It is important that these patients be afforded a speedy and, preferably, immediate reconstruction and rehabilitation. Conventional techniques do not satisfy all the required goals.Entities:
