[Epidermoid epitheliomas of the rectum : a report on three cases (author's transl)].

Three cases of this rare condition are reported and the published literature reviewed. Their insidious clinical nature is underligned, as well as their weak sensitivity to radiotherapy. The etiopathogenicity of epidermoid epitheliomas of the rectum is discussed. These tumors are very rarely observed in the middle of rectal mucosa. Three cases treated at the "Institut Gustave-Roussy" are described, as well as serveral cases reported in the published literature.
