Isolation and characterization of soluble epidermal antigens reactive with pemphigus antibodies.

S Miyagawa, T Hojo, H Ishii, J Yoshioka, K Sakamoto.

Abstract

The antigenic substance reactive with pemphigus antibodies was isolated from the soluble component of guinea pig epidermis by affinity chromatography. The substance was a protein of molecular weight 18 000 and consisted of RNA and hexose.
