[Results of toxicological investigations on vesparax-poisonings (author's transl)].

G Sticht, H Käferstein.

Abstract

Concentrations of brallobarbital and secobarbital in 10 cases of acute Vesparax-intoxications are listed for blood, brain, liver, kidney, and muscle. Quantitative determinations in brain give information as to the time of acute poisoning. Muscle is a suitable organ to determine the resorbed quantity of the drug. As few as 10 Vesparax-tablets are enough to produce lethal poisonings.
