F H Borgsteede, T Smit.

Abstract

Collyricloides massanae (Trematoda: Collyriclidae) is described from cysts in the wall of the small intestine of a starling (Sturnus vulgaris L.) in the Netherlands. The original descriptin was from a yellow necked mouse, Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior), so this is the first record of the species in birds.
