Abstract
A 47-year-old man presented with exertional angina. Selective coronary arteriography showed complete systolic segmental occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery producing milking effect. Permanent relief of symptoms was achieved by surgical excision of myocardial bridges. Postoperative angiography performed 11 months later was normal. Periarterial muscle resection should be considered in symptomatic patients with this rare anomaly.Entities:
