Paracoccidioidomycosis, neoplasia and associated infections.

Abstract

A highly significant percentage of malignancy (8.2%) was found in a group of 147 patients with Paracoccidioidomycosis. Tuberculosis was also observed in 19% of this patient group. The possible immune mechanisms involved in this association are discussed.
