Abstract
Solitary eosinophilic granulomas of bone are benign and tend to heal spontaneously over a period of months to years. Radiotherapy and curettage have certain risks, which may be excessive considering the benign nature of the lesion. The authors injected methylprednisolone directly into 9 pathologically proved solitary eosinophilic granulomas of bone and obtained initiation of healing and relief of pain in 8.
