Syunthesis of alpha-hydroxy stearyl coenzyme A.

Abstract

Synthesis of alpha-hydroxy stearyl CoA from N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of a alpha-hydroxy stearic acid and coenzyme A is reported. The CoA derivative has been isolated, purified and characterized from its spectral data and chemical properties.
