Abstract
The most usual treatment of neovascular glaucoma is suppression of the production of aqueous by means of coagulation of the ciliary body. In addition to cryocoagulation, diathermic coagulation of the exposed ciliary body by Benedikt and Hiti's method has been applied recently. The results which we obtained in 21 cases with this method are encouraging. In most cases the pain disappeared and the intraocular pressure decreased to below 30 mmHg. In half of the cases cryocoagulation was performed as well as diathermy.Entities:
