Oral hyperpigmentation and occult malignancy--report of a case.

Abstract

Melanocytes exist in the oral and laryngeal mucosa capable of responding with a hyperpigmentation response to occult malignancy. Such a case is presented and its differentiation from other disease processes is discussed.
