Abstract
Osteomalacia due to vitamin D deficiency is common in elderly women. It has been suggested that ultraviolet light may have a place in its prevention but our studies with Vita-Lite fluorescent tubes have given no support to the view that these can play a useful role in the promotion of vitamin D synthesis.Entities:
