A sensitive high-pressure liquid chromatographic method for the determination of prednisone, prednisolone and hydrocortisone in plasma.

A method for quantitative determination of prednisone, prednisolone and hydrocortisone in plasma, using triamcinolone acetonide as internal standard is presented. The calibration curves were evaluated statistically. The method was applied to plasma samples from one subject, who was receiving single daily doses of prednisone.
