Occipital 'sebaceous cysts'--a trap for the unwary.

Abstract

The risk of delayed intracranial abscess formation following excision of an occipital dermal sinus or cyst is illustrated by three recent cases. Once suspected, posterior fossa epidermoid and dermoid cysts are readily diagnosed by CT scanning.
