Stenosing tendovaginitis of the third compartment of the hand. Case report.

B A Mogensen, H S Mattsson.

Abstract

Stenosing tendovaginitis of the third compartment is a rare condition in non theumatoid patients. The extensor pollicis longus (EPL) muscle extending into the tight third compartment can explain the clinical findings in some cases.
