Idiopathic isolated granulomatous gastritis: spontaneous resolution without surgical intervention.

J V Weinstock.

Abstract

A patient was demonstrated to have idiopathic isolated granulomatous gastritis. The gastric lesion healed without the use of antiinflammatory medications. Surgical resection was not required for diagnosis or treatment. This case demonstrates that idiopathic isolated granulomatous gastritis may resolve without invasive medical or surgical therapy.
