Eyelid and orbital cavernous hemangioma associated with keratoconus.

A Hornblass, W I Sabates.

Abstract

A 38-year-old man had a 35-year history of a slowly progressive eyelid and orbital mass and keratoconus affecting his left eye. The mass was excised and found to be a large encapsulated cavernous hemangioma. We postulated a direct relationship between the development of keratoconus and the mechanical pressure exerted by the tumor on the globe.
