Abstract
The present study deals with 81 primary adenocarcinomas of the uterine cervix diagnosed and treated in the departement of gynecology and obstetrics of the University of Zürich from 1950 through 1977. Clinical and morphological data such as patients age, character and duration of symptoms, clinical and anatomical stage, histological differentiation of the tumor and therapy were recorded and analysed in relation to patients survival. Of all these factors the stage of the tumor at time of diagnosis proved to have the highest prognostic significance.Entities:
