Abstract
Damage to the lacrimal drainage apparatus is probably a frequent occurrence during rhinoplasty and this may lead to a permanent occlusion of the drainage system with tearing. This fact is not well documented in the plastic surgery or ophthalmic literature. Four cases of epiphora following rhinoplasty are presented. The possible mechanism of the obstruction and the treatment are discussed.Entities:
