Abstract
Detection threshold vs. retinal eccentricity functions measured during the cone plateau of the dark-adaptation curve differed from comparable functions measured on a uniform photopic background. Dark adaptation increased parafoveal sensitivity more than either foveal or peripheral sensitivity.Mesh:
