Abstract
107 patients operated on for otosclerosis were studied after an average of 16 years after the operation. The mean age-corrected bone thresholds measured after the postoperative stabilization period and at the follow-up examination did not differ significantly. Our results support the opinion that, in cases of operated otosclerosis, the sensorineural component follows the clinical course of presbyacusis.Entities:
