Abstract
Intermittent claudication of the masticatory muscles is an unusual symptom sometimes described in association with temporal arteritis. We describe here two cases where this symptom was due to insufficient blood supply to the masticatory muscles caused by atherosclerotic changes of carotid vessels. In one of our cases surgical revascularization was followed by the disappearance of this symptom.Entities:
