Triamcinolone acetonide spray (reformulated) in the treatment of topical steroid-responsive dermatoses.

R Goldner.

Abstract

The environmental and health hazards from chlorofluorocarbons are well documented. Triamcinolone acetonide spray was reformulated, incorporating isobutane as the propellant and used on 50 patients with a wide variety of corticosteroid responsive dermatosis. The efficacy of triamcinolone in the treatment of these dermatoses was not altered by the isobutane.
