Abstract
The authors present anatomical sections realized with a "scanigraph": an unedited self acting apparatus specially conceived for the exploration of anatomical specimens. It is possible to take photographs of successive parallel plans, scanned at 18, 9 or 6 pictures by millimeter. With the help of a computer, anatomical sections could be reconstituted in orthogonal projection and axial incidence. The results obtained reveal a new process in anatomical investigation.Mesh:
