Brevibacterium sp. from poultry.

Abstract

Two isolates of methanethiol producing coryneform bacteria sharing morphological and physiological similarities with Brevibacterium are described. They were isolated from bumble-foot-like manifestations of poultry but proved to be non-pathogenic for experimental animals.
