Abstract
A method for palliative treatment of obstructive jaundice due to malignant growths consists of an indwelling tube, endoprosthesis, inserted percutaneously transhepatically under local anesthesia. A permanent bile drainage was established in 12 patients with inoperable obstructions of the bile duct, and in seven, a temporary drainage was used.Entities:
