Abstract
The Nesbit operation gave excellent results in 85% of 22 men with erectile deformities of the penis due to various congenital causes. The dermal graft procedure has been abandoned for the treatment of Peyronie's disease as a result of an unacceptably high incidence of post-operative erectile problems. The Nesbit technique successfully corrected the erectile deformity in 77% of 62 men with Peyronie's disease. Those patients with Peyronie's disease and erectile impairment due to cavernous fibrosis are best treated by the insertion of a penile prosthesis.Entities:
