Bilateral dorsal dislocation of the distal radio-ulnar joint.

C Pezeshki, A J Weiland.

Abstract

A case of bilateral distal radio-ulnar dislocation following a forced extension-pronation injury of both wrists with bilateral fractures of the ulnar styloid is presented. The diagnosis was not made at the initial evaluation; and closed reduction under general anesthesia was performed 11 days after injury. A review of the literature, problems in diagnosis, and methods of treatment are discussed.
