Abstract
The case of a patient with transient multiple brain infiltrates in allergic meningoencephalitis--demonstrated by cranial compute tomography--is reported. The differential diagnosis of CSF-eosinophilia in inflammatory diseases of the brain is discussed, with special reference to the involvement of the central nervous system in parasitic infections and allergic reactions. The possibility of transient eosinophilic brain infiltrates as a cause of neurological symptoms in allergic meningoencephalitis is emphasized.Entities:
