Abstract
A controlled clinical trial was conducted to evaluate a sensory-motor education programme presented to expectant parents in prenatal classes. Short information sessions on sensory-motor development were provided to experimental parents by an occupational therapist. Statistically significant differences between experimental and control groups were noted in the home environments at 3 months of age, with the experimental families exhibiting more favourable environments. No statistically significant differences in development at 8 months of age between the two groups were observed.Mesh:
