Abstract
A 64-year old white female who had a history of diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism and Evan's syndrome (autoimmune hemolytic anemia plus thrombocytopenia) was admitted for orthopedic evaluation of an inflamed finger. She gave a history of patchy, pruritic lobster-red flush on her face, neck and chest and upper extremities after meals or after emotional distress. She was examined and a gastric carcinoid with liver metastases was found. The tissue diagnosis was made by gastric endoscopic and liver biopsies.Entities:
