Abstract
A wound caused by an exploder bullet should be suspected in the presence of a primer anvil, percussion cap, or multiple lead fragments from a low-velocity bullet not striking bone. The autopsy may reveal a larger area of tissue destruction at the site of the bullet exploding than would be expected from simple passage of an intact projectile.Mesh:
