Abstract
The preparation of several N(1)-glycosyl derivatives of 6-fluorothymine is described. The displacement of the fluorine atom at the C-6-position of the heterocyclic component lead to a series of new 6-substituted 5-methyl-pyrimidine-2,4-dione-nucleosides. Some of these new compounds show significant virostatic activity against influenza A virus strains.Entities:
