The peritoneal leukocytes of the germ-free mouse.

Abstract

The cytology of the lavage-recoverable peritoneal cell population of germ-free mice is similar to that of conventional controls. The microbial status has no effect on the total counts, differential counts or 3H-thymidine labelling index of peritoneal leukocytes.
