Abstract
No sarcoplasmic calcium-binding proteins reminiscent of those-described in other arthropods could be detected in locust flight and leg muscle. Instead, these tissue are rich in calmodulin. The purification and functional properties of this protein, which was purified to electrophoretic homogeneity, are very similar to those of calmodulin from bovine brain.Entities:
