Abstract
The article reports on 17 cases of ventral intracorporal spondylodesis at the lumbar vertebral column. Poor results were seen in about 50% of the cases in a follow-up examination performed 2--5 years postoperatively; in all these cases, clinical and radiological findings agreed completely. The article points to the importance of proper indication. The inefficiences are aral spondylodesis at the lumbar vertebral column.
