Abstract
A method for the determination of glucose is described. H2O2, produced by the action of glucose oxidase, is measured from the change in absorbance due to oxidation of NAD(P)H in the presence of catalase, aldehyde dehydrogenase and a high concentration of ethanol. The quality data of the method are equivalent to those of the hexokinase-glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase method used as reference.Entities:
