Abstract
The design of the Boston thoracolumbosacral orthosis for scoliosis treatment may increase intragastric pressure, possibly causing reflux esophagitis. Early recognition and aggressive medical treatment of reflux may avoid esophagitis and the need to either abandon or modify conservative scoliosis management.Entities:
